GitHub connection guide

Effica Grove keeps your records in your own GitHub repository. That is why GitHub asks you for three things the first time you sign in. It takes about a minute.

    Sign in (authentication)

    You verify who you are with your GitHub account. Effica Grove never receives your password.

    Install the app (first time only)

    You add Effica Grove to your GitHub account. You choose which repositories it can reach, so its access can be limited to your records repository alone.

  3. 3

    Approve permissions (authorization)

    You approve the permissions used to read and write your records. This is combined with the install step into a single screen.
